The Event.
It’s a supercharged, action-packed workshop for business owners who want to improve and grow their businesses.
This is 1 of only 2 events we run each year specifically for our clients and special invited guests.
Spend the day working on your business. You can expect guest speakers, presentations, interviews, networking, and mastermind hot seats.
It’s a full-day event and it is happening on Friday, 20th March 2026 in Cairns.

The Master Mind Brain Storming Session
Get ready to solve industry challenges specific to your business! This is our newest addition to the MAD line-up where we follow a specific format to brainstorm and identify solutions to the most pressing issues in your business.
Experts in their Field as our Guest Speakers
We seek out genuine experts in their field in North Queensland and invite them along to share their expertise. We’ve had experts in HR, Marketing, Negotiation, Pitching, AI, Trademarks, Technology… and many more! The sessions are interactive, and there is lots of opportunity to ask questions.
Non-Member Ticket Criteria
MAD Days are for Business Maximiser Members only, however we do allow a maximum of 10 non-members to each event by application.
Are you a business owner? Great, this event is specifically designed for you.
Have you been in business for more than 12 months? If you’ve been in business for over a year, successfully delivering your services but finding it tough to maintain profitability, manage long hours, or keep good talent on board, then you are in the right place.
Run a service-based business? Are you a builder, tradie, allied health professional, or business service professional? Perfect, this event is tailored to your needs.
Have at least 2 or more staff? Great, you’ll be able to leverage what you learn to get some great results.
Like to have fun, connect with other business owners, and learn new things? Then you’re in the right place!

What is a Massive Action Day?
It is a full-day, in-person workshop held three times a year in Cairns, in February, June and October. You will spend the entire day working on your business with guest speakers, presentations, mastermind hot seats, networking and hands-on strategy sessions. You leave with a clear four-month action plan and a done list of work you have already completed on the day.
Who can attend a Massive Action Day?
Massive Action Days are primarily for Business Maximiser members. However, I open up to 10 spots per event for non-members by application. You need to be a service-based or tradie business owner who has been running for at least 12 months, has two or more staff, and brings a genuine growth mindset to the room.
How do I apply to attend as a non-member?
Fill in the application form on the Massive Action Day page. Tell me a bit about you and your business, and I will be in touch to arrange a ticket if you are a good fit. Non-member attendance is by application only because I want every person in the room to be motivated, open to new ideas and ready to take action.
What will I walk away with?
A clear four-month plan to achieve your business goals. New strategies and tactics you can apply immediately. A done list of work you actually completed during the day. And the energy and ideas that come from spending a full day with other switched-on business owners who are serious about growth.
Is it just Sam presenting all day?
No. I bring in guest speakers and experts who tackle current market challenges relevant to tradie and service businesses. There are presentations, interviews, group exercises, mastermind hot seats and plenty of time for networking and peer problem-solving throughout the day.
Where is the event held?
Massive Action Days are held in Cairns. The exact venue details are confirmed closer to each event. If you are travelling from Townsville, Port Douglas or further afield, it is absolutely worth the trip. Many members tell me it is the single most valuable day they invest in their business each quarter.
